Raise! is a professional service user led company which strives to promote mental health awareness. Through personal experience, we aim to educate a diverse range of organisations in order to challenge misconceptions surrounding mental illness.
We are primarily a training company, and led by people who have first hand
experience of mental ill health and mental health services. We have an excellent
team of experienced trainers who use their personal knowledge and insight to
deliver a wide range of training courses to companies and organisations in the
South of England.
Training Courses By Raise!
We offer a wide range of training courses, all of which are co-facilitated by professional Raise! trainers. All of the courses we offer are tailored to encompass the widest possible audience, not just mental health service providers and users.
A major emphasis of our training is education, and we offer specific courses designed to tackle discrimination as well as teaching people awareness of their own positive mental health.
We also run capacity-building courses for people wishing to improve their own anxiety management, confidence building, and assertiveness skills.
Consultancy Services
We provide consulatancy on a wide range of issues surrounding the provision of Mental Health training. We work together with
- Professional Bodies - ie. the Approved Social Worker course
- Statutory Bodies - ie. Strategies for Mental Health to the Council
- Other Service User organisations
