Our Mission Statement:
We aim to provide excellent mental health training and consultancy services to the widest possible audience. Uniquely, as a 100% Service User company, we are able to educate from personal experience and insight. Driven by passion, we aspire to raise! mental health, hope and recovery for all.
Who We Are:
Raise! is an organisation which exclusively employs people with a diagnosed mental health problem -
from directors to cleaners and, most importantly, trainers who are therefore able to inform from personal experience.
As such we are a distinctive organisation demonstrating that service users can run a commercial business. Through our courses we aim to educate many sectors of the community regarding mental health and to challenge misconceptions.
Our service package can include:
- Training courses delivered to an extensive range of organizations and individuals - service users, carers as well as the statutory, non-statutory and voluntary sectors.
- Consultancy support to other bodies such as the Approved Social Worker Course and City Council Mental Health strategies.
- Consultancy support to other service user organizations which can draw on our experiences. From the conceptual stage, through design and development to implementation and with on-going support.
