Enhanced Mental Health Awareness
Introduction
Please note that this course is delivered at our own training venue in Basingstoke, Hampshire. However, should you wish to book this course dedicated to you and your colleagues, we are able to deliver it at a venue of your choice.
Aims
To raise the awareness of mental illness and the stigma surrounding it as well as the impact of a Mental Health diagnoses on individuals within society.
This 2 day course is an extension of the 1 day Introduction to Mental Health Awareness course providing detailed and in depth training surrounding major factors within mental health service provision and promoting positive well being. The overall emphasis of this course is on recovery.
Who is this course for?
This two day course is ideal for organisations such as, Voluntary services, Housing and Benefit staff, Support staff within the health/social care services, Schools and businesses, Citizen Advice and Advocacy staff.
