Aims
To raise awareness and provide factual evidence about schizophrenia, whilst dispelling myths surrounding these particular diagnoses. To also provide extensive insight into how people are affected by this psychiatric disorder which affects the coherence of the personality, through research materials and personal insights?
Who is this course for?
This one day course is ideal for professionals, particularly those who are in regular supportive roles of clients with schizophrenia. This course is aimed at Primary Care Trust workers, Social workers, mental health nurses, hospital staff and students. This course is equally ideal for voluntary sector groups such as advocacy and citizen advice workers, and counselling staff, who may work alongside clients experiencing schizophrenic symptoms.
